Have you been to Paris? If yes, the chance is great that you have walked on Rue Lepic. It is a 755m long street that climbs the hill of Montmartre in the 18th district of Paris. However you may not have noticed the perspective that is captured in this pattern. That's because it's

Should you choose to walk Rue Lepic back down again, you will see the view that is captured in this design. It gives a glimpse of the previous hard workers that lived in the area. Today Montmartre is mostly known to be the artistic quarter, and is a hotspot for tourists. Nevertheless, not so long ago these hills were homes of the workers such as those who worked the mill in this design.

To be able to capture a glimpse of history in an art-piece is just one of the things that we love about architectural embroidery.
