Story of the Pyramides Quarter design

The Pyramides embroidery pattern fits perfectly in a hoop of 23-25 cm (9-10"). It's a modern architectural design that concentrates on the graphical look of a typical Parisian building. We recommend to only use a single strand to best capture the finesse of the line-work.

Furthermore, we also urge you to use the back-stitch technique for the majority of the design. The back stitch method is perfect to embroider neat and straight lines, even for beginners of embroidery! With a thin thread and carefully placed stitches you will achieve a highly advanced look regardless of your previous embroidery experience.

For our embroidery of this design, we chose to stitch with a blue thread. However, we highly encourage you to choose the color scheme that you find the most inspiring. A great part of the enjoyment of stitching is to embroider a design you love in colors that you love.

The name for this pattern comes from the original inspiration: Place des Pyramides in Paris. It's a square located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris and thus holds a rich history.
