Story of the Passage Vivienne design
Passage Vivienne is one of Charles' favorite places in Paris. Spending our life doing a lot of sketches, I came across one of Charles's sketches of the Passage Vivienne. Our work then merged and I decided to transform it into an embroidery pattern. Passage Vivienne is one of the best-kept passages in Paris in the city. The mosaics on the floor are intact and the glasses on the ceiling give an exceptional luminosity. If you have the opportunity to take a tour, we recommend that you sit on the interior terrace of Bistro Vivienne and embroider this design in real time around a good glass of French wine.
