Story of the Botanical Garden, Amsterdam design

This is the first time that I (Elin) took inspiration from the inside of a ceiling to create this Botanical Garden of Amsterdam.

I adore garden houses for their serenity and brightness. The mix of plants and greenery fills you with joy. To bring maximum light many botanical garden houses are built with incredible structures such as the one in Amsterdam that was my reference for this design. Thus this modern embroidery pattern is a combination of my love for architecture and the serenity of garden houses. The greenery at the bottom of the design emphasizes the perspective of looking upwards. In addition, it also creates a strong contrast, which makes the whole piece "pop". You can choose whether you'd like to use a black or white fabric (and as a result white or black thread for the ceiling).

Depending on your choice you will achieve a different atmosphere with the same pattern. A black background with white contours tend to have a more dramatic effect, but it's all up to you what you prefer!
